Bruce Lemons | Director

Mr. Lemons is a tax attorney by profession and has practiced tax law in the energy area in the U.S. and Canada for over 40 years. In addition to his tax practice, he has worked on numerous corporate transactions and practiced law with two of the largest regional law firms in the Rocky Mountain region. He is an active investor in the energy arena, including investments in oil and gas, renewable energy, and coal, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Lemons has been a director of MMEX since its inception. Mr. Lemons has either authored or co-authored over thirty articles on S corporations, partnerships, mineral taxation, and international taxation in various publications. He is also co-author of the tax treatise S Corporations: Federal Taxation (West Group). Mr. Lemons holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Utah State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Brigham Young University Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Law Review.
